June and July in Arlington means extreme heat. FIFA introduced mandatory 3-minute hydration breaks after test events recorded dangerous conditions.
Arrive pre-hydrated
Drink 500ml water in the 2 hours before gates open. Security queues are outdoors in full sun. Free water refill stations are inside — find one immediately after entry.
Bring a cooling towel
Wet-activated cooling towels fit in your clear bag, pass through security, and drop skin temperature by up to 30°F. One of the highest-value items for summer matchday.
Hat + lotion sunscreen only
Wide-brim hat permitted. Lotion sunscreen under 3.4oz clears security. Aerosol sprays are banned. Apply before leaving your hotel and again at halftime.
Arrive early, leave before final whistle
Gates open 3 hours before kickoff — earlier entry means cooler conditions indoors. If you want to beat the post-match rideshare surge, exit 5 minutes before the final whistle.
Know the symptoms
Heat exhaustion: heavy sweating, weakness, cold/pale skin. Heat stroke: high body temp, hot/dry skin, rapid pulse. Medical stations are located at all gate entrances.

Getting to Fair Park
DART Green Line serves Fair Park Station and MLK Jr. Station directly. This is one of the easiest transit journeys in the Dallas World Cup experience — no shuttle needed.
Parking at Fair Park
Free parking available nearby Fair Park for the festival. However private property owners near Fair Park can charge up to $250 per vehicle. Use DART Green Line to avoid this entirely.
Concerts & Events
Three paid concerts are scheduled during the festival alongside free daily programming. Specialty food, beverage options, and youth programs on-site throughout the tournament.
